The city of Glendale announced that 95th Ave will be closed on Sunday from 5am-2pm due to the IMS Marathon.
This will effect traffic only a little bit but folks should be routed around just fine.
They will not be able to drive on 95th Ave on the Westgate side,
so anyone coming from Glendale ave will have to continue to 91st ave and then to Maryland.
The 2010 AZ Sunrays Hard Rock Invitational is changing it's name and will
now be called the Classic Rock Invitational.
It will be the same meet run by the same people at our awesome new location in the
University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Arizona (a suburb of Phoenix).
The Stadium is the home of the Arizona Cardinals and hosted the 2008 Super Bowl.
The grass field actually rolls out of the 200-foot high domed stadium to yield
the greatest gymnastics venue ever.
New This Year! Arizona Sunrays has teamed up with Aspire Kids Sports Center,
hosts of the 2008 Region 2 Championships, to bring a top notch T&T Competition
to the valley. We are very excited to have these great athletes as our guests
at this year's event. Please check out the T&T sign up page for more information. Or click here
The 2010 meet will be the second year that a gymnastics meet has ever been held in a NFL stadium.
Come join us for a celebration of unparalleled gymnastics competition,
an unbelievable venue, beautiful weather, a hard rock theme and flat out fun.
